A lighting plot turns visual intent into a buildable system.
The plot communicates fixture type, position, orientation and relationship to the venue. It works with schedules, channel data, power, control and rigging information to coordinate the build.

Can every department identify the current issue, author, date and approved change?

Treating a beautiful drawing as complete technical documentation
A plot without dimensions, legend, fixture schedule, revisions and associated patch or system paperwork can remain visually polished but operationally ambiguous.
